This sofa was purchased online and was in need of a full repair and restoration. The piece had incurred a good deal of moving damage, and after removing the old upholstery, a high degree of structural damage were uncovered. Being that this piece is over 100 years old it was in need of serious reconstruction. The structure was repaired and the ornate pieces were patched and hand carved to restore this sofa to its full glory. This piece took over a month to repair, restore and refinish before heading to Bristol Upholstery to be upholstered in Leather with the cushions done in shark skin with stingray piping.
